The Oahu Soil and Water Conservation Districts are dedicated to helping you address your farms resource concerns and get you connected with farming resources.
Our mission is, "to coordinate and facilitate partners and governmental agencies in identifying and implementing projects and practices with cultural sensitivity to assure the protection of Hawaii’s environment. "
Becoming an SWCD cooperator is a great way to network with farmers in your area, get access to farming tools, get started on your conservation plan, and there are no fees to join.
Farming can have its challenges, and we're here to help.
We offer:
- Conservation Planning
- Farming and Conservation Technical Assistance
- Access to free or reduced cost farming equipment
- Literature and Online Resources
- Farming Supply Contacts
- Inclusion to industry tours
Our districts offer technical assistance as well as help finding funding assistance for your farming projects. Check out our online resources and connect with our partners as well.
